A 35-year-old man died early this morning after he was involved in a fight near Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, police said.James Braun was pronounced dead at the hospital from injuries he sustained in the fight at the Disabled American Veterans building, 3455 S. Wilmot Road, south of East Golf Links Road, said Sgt. Chris Widmer, a Tucson Police Department spokesman.
The fight started inside the building and continued into the parking lot, Widmer said.
Several people attacked the man during the fight.
No arrests have been made, but several people have been detained.
Detectives had to interview at least 15 witnesses.
