KIDNAP (Robbery Suspect) PHOENIX / TUCSON stabbed Female

PHOENIX - Police in Phoenix have reached out to the Tucson Police Department to help find a violent kidnapping and armed robbery suspect who may be headed for the Tucson area.
According to a news release from the Phoenix P.D.'s "Silent Witness" program, a reward of up to $10,000 is being offered for information on a man who kidnapped a woman, stole her vehicle, stabbed her multiple times, and left her in the desert.

On Friday, August 10, at about 10:23 a.m., the victim, a Hispanic woman, was at the Mesa Public Library when she was approached by the suspect, the news release states. The man asked her for a ride to the Greyhound station in Mesa.
The victim agreed to give the man a ride, but once in the car, the suspect threatened her with a knife, then stabbed her multiple times and restrained her in the back seat while stealing her vehicle. The suspect drove the victim to a remote area south of Florence, where the vehicle was disabled, the news release states.
The victim was left in the desert, and police believe the suspect may have gotten a ride from the vehicle on Arizona 79 and the Florence-Kelvin Highway.
The suspect is described as a Hispanic man, 18 to 22 years old, 5'6" tall, 160 pounds, Spanish-speaking, and last seen wearing a black baseball cap (possibly with a Chicago White Sox logo), a grey t-shirt, blue basketball shorts, dark tennis shoes, and possible an orange or red cloth item in his pocket.
